BCS Quick Start

BCS - Quick Start

The BCS Quick Start is finished and is available on my site and in the bcs download. It actually doesn't deserve the name since it has become much longer than apropriate for the attribute "Quick". But it contains my current understanding of how combination-sculpting might work and comes with example scenes to guide through the tutorial and clarify the points.

BCS v1.0.3

posted by danielpk on 06-30-2005 20:57

There's a new version of the BCS! Version 1.0.3 fixes some bugs and adds several new features. The complete version history can be seen at the bottom of its description.

The main additions are the Quick Start and the two new modeling tools Paint Deform and Rotate Deltas.

Note that you can still use the plugins for version 1.0.2 since the C++ source code didn't change. Just mel files have been edited and/or created.

The Paint Deform and Rotate Deltas scripts are also available seprately from the bcs here: DPK_paintDeform and DPK_rotateDeltas.

Hey there,

the bcs plugin is now compiled for Maya 6.0 (windows) and part of the download.

Many thanks to Judd Simantov for compiling this version!

BCS v1.0.2

Ok, so now I got Maya 6.5 running and compiled the BCS for it too. Version 1.0.2 has just minimal changes in the source code. Also, there are now new batch files for compiling for 6.0. A new readme in the source folder explains their usage.
